About

The research group consisting of one professor and three researchers is with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, CTU in Prague. The group is mainly supportedĀ  via the Centre for Applied Cybernetics, which has been established and is being funded by the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic under the programme 1M0567. Besides, the group has been involved in several European and National projects.

All the members of the group are also with the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Faculty of Mecahnical Eng., CTU in Prague.

The research group focuses on mathematical modelling and applied theory of automatic control. The theoretical part of the research is mainly related to the field of frequency based analysis and synthesis of Time Delay Systems. The activities within the applied and experimental research concentrate on the modelling and control of systems with distributed parameters, eg airflow control (6th FP EU Project SEAT) , control of heating processes (optimization of industrial furnaces), indoorclimate control (6th FP EU Project Climate for Culture).
